FAQ

Where can I use Qrafted?

At launch: Thailand (PromptPay), Vietnam (VietQR), Indonesia (QRIS), the Philippines (QR Ph), Cambodia (KHQR), Laos (Lao QR), and Mongolia (QPay). Anywhere these QR codes are accepted.

Do I need to know about crypto?

No. Qrafted uses USDC stablecoins for instant cross‑border settlement, but you'll never see a wallet address, a private key, or a gas fee. Your balance is shown in USD, you fund it like a normal banking app.

Is it safe? Are you regulated?

We work with regulated payment partners — fully licensed banks and payment institutions in the US, UK, EU, and each destination country. We're FinCEN‑registered and follow the same KYC and AML standards as Wise or Revolut.

How is this different from a Wise card?

Wise's card runs on the Visa or Mastercard network — most Southeast Asian small merchants don't accept those cards, or they charge 3% extra. Qrafted pays directly via local QR rails, so you can pay a street food cart, a tuk‑tuk driver, or a market stall the way locals do.

What about personal QR codes in Thailand?

Yes — including personal PromptPay (the citizen‑ID QR most street vendors use). This is the #1 limitation of competing apps; we built around it from day one through a Thai‑licensed banking partner.
